Bicyclist seriously injured after being struck by vehicle in south Fort Myers

SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — One bicyclist has been seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in front of Haverty's Furniture on US-41 in south Fort Myers.
The South Trail Fire District and Lee County EMS responded to the incident at 9:42 PM on Saturday.
The bicyclist was transported as a trauma alert to Gulf Coast Medical Center.
All southbound lanes of US-41 are blocked at this time.
The LCSO is investigating the crash.
